LMBC BEER REVIEW – Turn The Paige

Jim Strelau, LMBC Brewmaster

Our Turn the Paige strawberry sour is brewed for Valentine’s Day and beyond. Beautiful red color compliments the juicy strawberry flavor and aroma. Our sour beers here at Little Miami Brewing are almost always fruited with some kind of fun, local, seasonal, or just different fruit.
The tartness from the sour beer plays nicely with almost anything we add for sweetness and tartness. Our bartender was asking for a strawberry sour and we like to name beers after rock songs.
Paige and Bob Seger get the nod this time. Cheers!

LMBC BEER REVIEW – Piñata

Jim Strelau, LMBC Brewmaster

I’ve always loved spicy food, especially Roasted Hatch Green Chilis.  When I experienced my first Chili Beer in Denver back in 1998, I was hooked.  Living in Arizona for 15 years only strengthened my love for Chilis. When I moved back to Cincinnati to open LMBC back in 2017, I knew I wanted to brew one.  To my surprise, it’s a huge seller for us here in Milford, Ohio. Who knew?! It has the flavor of Fire-Roasted Green Chili without being too over-the-top in the heat department. I could make it way hotter, but then you couldn’t drink much.   It’s more of a Session Beer with low Hop Bitterness and Alcohol, but with lots of flavor. Cheers!
